And whoever compels you to go one mile, go two with him. . .

Matthew 5:41

THE PROJECT

The Walk A Mile Project is a humanitarian aid organization whose goal is to use our abilities and experience in order to plant, to build, to organize, to encourage, and to invest in ways to meet physical needs of impoverished communities around the world while sharing the love of Jesus Christ. The WAM Project has established three areas of emphasis to enable us, as well as others, to achieve that goal.

Teach & Train                             Encourage & Equip                             Go & Do

To Teach & Train children and youth to be mission-minded, compassion-driven, and determined world changers. That no matter what age or ability, they can be a difference maker along with being disciples teaching disciples. "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6

To Encourage & Equip groups and churches on how to Go – how to prepare for a mission trip, how to form a mission team, how to raise funds, etc. and on how to Do – how to build houses, how to feed villages, how to be involved with ministries such as flipflopsforHisfeet, etc. "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." Ephesians 2:10

To Go & Do – to host international mission trips and local youth mission camps, to build houses and feed villages in Guatemala, to collect shoes with flipflopsforHisfeet, and to most importantly share the gospel. "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." Mark 16:15

THE TEAM

It is our hearts' desire to walk a mile to those in need, to walk a mile for those with no hope, to walk a mile with those willing to serve. . .
